Sharmila Cirvante has 25+ years of experience in creative strategy, concepts and content writing. She has worked on global brands during her stints at leading advertising agencies in Mumbai and Dubai such as McCann-Erikson, Y&R, O&M, and others where she created strategic communication across ATL and BTL, using relevant consumer insights and clutter-breaking execution.

Her client list includes working on B2B as well as B2C brands such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Cathay Pacific, Reebok, Duracell, Dove, Shapoorji Pallonji, Crompton Greaves, Fevicol, Asian Paints, The Taj Group and more.

As the Creative Head of Times Music, she successfully conceptualised insightful communication and innovative music album covers.

Currently, she oversees the creative department of Word Hatter and is focused on making its sharp team of writers make miracles.

Sheetal is Word Hatter’s branding and strategy brain and also heads Unpac Research, our in-house research agency. Her repertoire of insights is as fresh as the fieldwork she’s just come from. These learnings form the core of our content strategy, which is always based on real-time observations and conversations, not conjectures.

Sheetal has 22+ years of experience in retail, marketing, advertising and research. She has worked in companies such as JWT, Ambience Advertising, Proact Research & Consultancy, Shoppers Stop and K. Raheja Corp.

As Vice President – Marketing and Visual Merchandising at Shoppers Stop, she has been instrumental in repositioning the brand as well as creating the new identities for Home Stop, Arcelia and Shoppers Stop.

Her advertising and research stints have seen her work on brands such as Aditya Birla, Tata Group, Platinum Guild of India, Reliance,TVS, BPL Mobile, Lakme, Garden, Kolte-Patil, Sleek Kitchens and more .
